Mathematical morphology on graphs
jeudi 19 octobre 2017, 14h00 - 15h00
Mathematical morphology (in the broad sense including aspects of digital topology and geometry) is a non-linear theory for image analysis born in France in the 60’s. It provides a set of segmenting and filtering tools that are useful in applications. This session aims at providing a « literary » survey of mathematical morphology on graphs focusing on my recent works : filtering with adjunctions and hierarchical analysis. It describes in the English language many ideas stemming from a large number of different papers, hence providing a unified view of an active and diverse field of research.
