DESCRIPTION:International Workshop on Bayesian Networks and Applications in
  Post-genomics\n\nParis\, September 27 - October 1\, 2010\n\nOrganizers: G
 . Nuel and S. Wolfsheimer\n\nThe purpose of this workshop is to introduce 
 the base notions of the Bayesian Networks theory as well as its practical 
 applications to Post-Genomics problems. The workshop include both theoreti
 cal lectures and practical sessions which are project-orientated: small gr
 oups of participants will each focus on a given particular problem and sol
 ve it within the week\, presenting their results the last day.\n\nThe four
  first days are only open to a small number of participants (20 max)\, whi
 le the last day will be open to anyone. The public aimed ranges from maste
 r students to postdoctoral researchers. Every participant should have basi
 c programming skills and basic statistical skills.\nHowever\, our aim is t
 o accept participant from very different backgrounds and to keep the lectu
 res and projects accessible to non-experts.\n\nThanks to the financial sup
 port of many (CNRS INSMI\, Paris Descartes University\, GDR BiM\, GDR Stat
 s Santé). The participation to the workshop is free.
