Hydrodynamic Limit for Spatially Structured Interacting Neurons
vendredi 3 juin 2016, 10h30 - 11h15
We study the hydrodynamic limit of a stochastic process describing the time evolution of the membrane potentials of a system of spatially structured interacting neurons. More specifically, we show that the empirical distribution of the membrane potentials converges, as the number of neurons diverges, to a probability density which is proved to obey a non linear PDE of Hyperbolic type.
